I've come back to this for further study. I am so glad that you made his hands normal in every sense of the word; the long nails are not right for this character. I've waited for 45 years for someone to explain the medallions around his neck and upon his breast. I know that they are in the second painting of him from the original series because I have a copy canvas of that one. Glad, too, that you have captured such details so well, including the tongue sticking out of the wolf-head cane. I went back and looked at my cane, bought some years ago, and, indeed, the tongue sticks out!
